This is how our home was left: Trash everywhere Toilets in awful condition Kitchen in a greasy, stained mess And worse our electricity meter caught fire due to excessive load from unauthorized appliances. Despite clear house rules and safety guidelines, guests like these continue to act like they re in a hotel with zero regard for hygiene or safety. Just an overview of the situation: The guest booked our independent house for 6 days and specifically instructed that no maid should visit during the stay. Despite this, they left the house in an unacceptable and hazardous condition, including electrical misuse and severe cleanliness violations. When asked, they casually say: It s not our job to keep your house clean. Well, whose job is it to fix the damage after you leave? It s disheartening, but sadly, this isn t a one-off. Guests like these seem to be habitual offenders leaving behind a trail of negligence at every stay. We love hosting, but it s time the real side of this business is shown.
